There are no comments here, so this is the way to answer back. I read everything that arrives.

Disagreement is welcome, and so is the flat statement that I have got something wrong. I would rather be corrected by a stranger than be wrong in public for another month.

Corrections

If something I published is wrong, tell me. It helps if you include:

  • which essay
  • the specific claim
  • where the better information comes from

A correction that matters gets made in the open, in the essay itself, saying what changed and why. I am not interested in quietly editing something and hoping nobody noticed.

What happens to your message

It comes to me and stays with me. Nothing is published without asking you first, and if a letter is worth publishing I will ask. You are not added to any list, because there is no list. The privacy page says exactly what is kept.

I may take a while to reply. I am one person, and this is not my job.
