I was born in the mid 1950's and grew up as what was known then as a military brat. My father was a career Marine and spend time in the Korean and Vietnam wars. I moved around a lot but mainly I grew up in the Southern California area where I attended eight different elementary and middle schools. We ended up in Thousand Oaks CA with a population of 38,000. It was paradise for a young teen. Like most teens in the area, Surfing, Moto Cross, street sports, and hiking was my life. In 1974 I graduated from high school and spent several years working here and there without much direction. I also attended Moorpark Junior College. In 1978 I became a Submariner in the Navy from where I retired. At Moorpark and the Navy, I began to develop some self-esteem. I forgot to mention that my father really didn’t think I was his and he treated so. I found later in life by ways of a DNA test that I was his. While in the Navy I discovered I had this odd talent in what we call Information Technology today. It just came naturally. So, since 1978 I’ve been working in the technology sector in one way or another. Today, I live in Colorado and yeah, I work in technology.
